Wastewater is transferred from the vibratory equipment to the process tank and than pumped under low pressure through the wide channel membrane filters. The cross-flow filtration design prevents membrane clogging which allows the permeation of a continuous stream of clean water for discharge to sewer or reuse. The retained solids, including the heavy metals, are concentrated and periodically removed from the bottom of the coned process tank. Additional dewatering of the concentrated solids via a roll media filter, filter press, or evaporation may be desirable.
