Vibratory Bowls

Vibratory bowls are the most versatile and most cost effective types of mass finishing equipment available. They have the ability for aggressive burr removal along with providing pre-plate surface finishes without impingement. Sure, there is mass finishing equipment available that is faster; however, none offer the versatility a vibratory bowl.

Rosler Equipment Giant Sweco

RÖSLER

Successful mass finishing applications are usually the result of a combination of creative process technology and innovative equipment engineering. This approach is reflected in the varied line of Rösler rotary vibrators with their enhanced performance characteristics, such as their specialty designed direct drive motors. They combine Rösler's high equipment quality and reliability standards with a functional design. In addition, they are easy to operate and provide a high degree of productivity.

GIANT FINISHING

SWECO

Time tested technology provides three-dimensional Vibro-Energy motion for all Sweco Finishing Mills. This motion subjects parts and media to a consistent high frequency tilting movement as they travel in a helical/orbital path around the chamber. The resulting compressive scrubbing action cleans and also removes burrs, round sharp corners and smooths out surface impressions. Because vertical/horizontal amplitudes and the rate of vibration are completely adjustable, your finishing requirements can be handled quickly and efficiently.

Vibratory Oval Bowls

The unique oval design provides you the ability of having a continuous high production machine within a limited floor plan. It is great for small to medium sized parts and for ball burnishing applications.

Rosler Equipment Giant

Giant Finishing

Giant's standard machine feature 100% separation of parts and media, a spiral bottom, heavy duty bowl and base weldments, a removable cast poly-urethane drain plug and parts and discharge ramp.

RÖSLER

The Rösler RT Series is powered by a single heavy duty double-flange high energy vibratory motor with adjustable RPM. The wear resistant lining is made from rubber or polyurethane depending on the application. The machines are equally suited for batch or continuous processing and are ideal if floor space is at a premium.

Vibratory Tubs

The Batch Tub Vibrators were the first generation of mass finishing equipment made. They are especially suited for the finishing of large, bulky or long parts. Since they do not incorporate internal separation they are not as conducive to the finishing of small to medium size parts.

Rosler Equipment Giant

Giant Finishing

Giant Tubs feature a balanced suspension drive with variable speed and adjustable eccentric weights. They provide aggressive action for tough to finish parts to gentle action for fragile parts. 3-40 cubic foot capacities available.

RÖSLER

You can find thist type of machine in applications where the biggest rotary vibrator, because of the size of the parts, is still to small. Straight tubs are very suitable for large and sensitive parts which if necessary, can be treated in separtate compartments without the risk of part on part impigngement. In Rösler's unique range, you will find different models with sizes from 7" x 21" to 59" x 157".

Continuous Flow Vibratory Machine

These machines provide you the ability to process a high volume of medium to large size parts. They are in-line production machines that can receive a constant flow of parts and discharge directly to an automated drying system. Their process cycles usually range between 10-30 minutes.

Improved Machining Technology has brought reduced deburring time cycles and thus continuous vibratory finishing is steadily gaining ground. Whether you have a large diecasting or smaller, delicate parts. Add to this Rösler's vast experience in material handling and you truly have a quality, state of the art continuous vibratory finishing process.

Giant Finishing

Giant's "Flo-Thru" continuous systems offer you in-line production for parts finishing. With the ability to receive a constant "flo" of parts, you'll have more flexibility in your procees and increased productivity. Continuous machines are available in closed tube or open top styles. Closed "Flo-Thur" styles offer the best value on the market. They are quiet and energy effiecient.

High Energy Centrifugal Disc Machines

Pictured: Nicem centrifugal disc machine

A high energy finishing method generates tremendous g-forces, which results in very short time cycles compared to conventional tumbling. The machine is conducive for small to medium size parts and can easily by automated allowing it to be used in cell technology.

Drag Finishing

Drag Finisher

Rosler's drag finishing machines consist of a rotating spinner containing up to 48 independently rotating spindles. The parts are attached to the spindles and are 'dragged' through a work bowl filled with grinding or polishing media.

Compared to rotary vibrators, drag finishining offers 40 times the grinding performance.

Tumbling Barrels

Pictured: Horizontal finishing

This original form of mass finishing does not have the high tech qualities required for cell manufacturing, but it is still a very economical way of deburring. It is really the only way to process flat parts efficiently and is a production machine for small to medium size parts. Take it from the people that know "tumbling."
