Vibratory Bowls
Vibratory bowls are the most versatile and most cost effective types of mass finishing equipment available. They have the ability for aggressive burr removal along with providing pre-plate surface finishes without impingement. Sure, there is mass finishing equipment available that is faster; however, none offer the versatility a vibratory bowl.
Sweco


The most respected name in metal finishing. Sweco pioneered the concept of the round-bowl vibratory finishing machine.

Many have tried to duplicate the Sweco machine but they still have the best built, best warrantied finishing mill in the industry.


Batch Type Series are bowls which do not incorporate internal parts separation. However, Large discharge doors are available for external separation. These machines lend themselves to larger and longer parts and have more versatility than tub machines. [ sizes ]


The FM-DLR Series are bowls with automatic internal parts separation and are really considered the standard. Part unloading time is minimal and the media never leaves the machine. [ sizes ]


The FMS Series are continuous internal separation mills. They incorporate a spiral bottom that facilitates unloading and is necessary for unloading steel media. The design lends itself to short cycle high production parts for continuous processing. [ sizes ]


Giant Finishing


Giant Finishing manufactures four cost-effective bowls. Flat or spiral bottom with a belt drive and flat or spiral bottom with a direct drive.

This provides you with processing capabilities for an unlimited range of applications.


GB Series is their standard line of internal separation machines. They come with either a direct or belt drive and have a removable cast urethane screen and parts discharge ramp. Sizes range between 3 - 60 cubic feet capacities.


BB Series are batch machines with processing capacities of 3 to 40 cubic feet. They have a heavy duty bowl and base weldment and feature a removable drain plug. Again, they Are available with a direct or belt drive.
 


LR Series are their long radius machines which are conducive to continuous operation. Available options include full automation, electronic variable speed, PLC process controls and much more. Sizes availability is 8 to 30 cubic feet capacity.


Nicem


Nicem offers a complete line of batch and automatic internal separation vibratory bowls. Their unique low amplitude, high frequency drive system and their three dimensional balancing of their bowls generate an aggressive yet gentle action which provides fine finishes on soft materials.


SM and SP Series have a flat bottom for obtaining optimum finishes and use external separation via magnetic extractors or external separators. These machines are designed for finishing delicate metal parts along with large parts and allow for modular work stations to be created. Sizes available from 3.5 to 3.7 cubic feet.


WL Series vibratory bowls utilize Internal automatic separation. They are also flat bottom bowls which enable you to achieve finishing of delicate parts and obtain fine finishes due to their three dimensional balancing. They are designed to operate without modifications alongside others, thus optimizing output and creating a work station to meet any need.

Vibratory Oval Bowls
The advantage to the oval shape is that it provides you a continuous high production machine for small to medium parts within a limited floor plan.
Giant Finishing

Tub Vibrators
The Batch Tub Vibrators were the first generation of mass finishing Equipment made. They are especially suited for the finishing of large, bulky or long parts. Since they do not incorporate internal separation they are not as conducive to the finishing of small to medium size parts.
Giant Finishing




Giant tubs feature a balanced suspension drive with variable speed and adjustable eccentric weights. They provide aggressive action for tough to finish parts to gentle action for fragile parts. 3-40 cubic foot capacities available. [ sizes ]




Use Giant Wedge Series For smaller operations, the wedge series blends efficiency, economy and portability. Totally enclosed, quiet and self-contained. They are ideal for cellular applications.

Nicem




Nicem Tubs utilize a rubber lining along with their drive motor to generate a high velocity motion. This gives them the versatility to run small steel media for polishing in addition to standard ceramic media. Size availability ranges between 3 and 400 cubic foot capacities.

VRTRBL




The VRTRBL Tubs series is an innovative tiltable tub. It is designed for burnishing within 2-5 minute time cycles and incorporates automatic unloading. It is a great machine for cell manufacturing. 1.4 cubic foot and 3 cubic foot capacities.

Continuous Tub Vibrators
These machines provide you the ability to process a high volume of medium to large size parts. They are in-line production machines that can receive a constant flow of parts and discharge directly to an automated drying system. Their process cycles usually range between 10-30 minutes.
Giant Finishing



Giant Finishing Tub Vibrators are available in closed tube or open top styles. Their closed "flo-thru" style is more energy efficient and quiet. Tub diameters range from 14"-48" with capacities ranging 18-200 cubic feet. These machines can also be designed to handle steel media.

Nicem




Nicem Tub Vibrators are designed to utilize very small steel media to produce a very high quality burnish within a short time cycle. This finish is achieved without the media and part impingement commonly associated with this continuous process. You have to see it to believe it!

Centrifugal Disc Machines
A high energy finishing method which generates tremendous g-forces. This results in very short time cycles compared to conventional tumbling. The machine is conducive for small to medium size parts and can easily by automated allowing it to be used in cell technology.

Centrifugal Barrel Machines
Centrifugal Barrel Machines radius, deburr and polish 30 to 40 times faster than conventional methods, four evenly-spaced barrels mounted on a high R.P.M. variable speed turret, yield sinishing forces up to 9 G's.

Tumbling Barrels & Screen Separators
This original form of mass finishing does not have the high tech qualities required for cell manufacturing, but it is still a very economical way of deburring. It is really the only way to process flat parts efficiently and is a production machine for small to medium size parts. Take it from the people that know "tumbling."

Spin Dryers
These machines use centrifugal force technology which provides fast, clean and spot free drying. Especially effective for small parts and parts with blind holes. While the centrifugal action spins water off parts, it also incorporates a powerful suction that pulls heated air through the parts load.

New Holland


New Holland Dryers are available with electric or steam heaters and offer a soft start motor control system to prevent parts from marring. Their sizes range from a table top unit to 250 lb. unit. [ sizes ]

Nobel


Noble Spin Dryers feature a top opening lid along with soft start capabilities and temperature control. They are the only manufacturer that offers 7 different sizes of dryers ranging from 7 lbs. To 800 lbs.

Nicem


Nicem Spin Dryers dry in the same fashion as the others; however they are unloaded via a tilting action through a lever. Because they tilt there is no need to utilize baskets to transfer parts to the dryer, rather the dryer is loaded directly.

Cob Dryers
These machines utilize corn cob as the drying mechanism within a vibratory bowl. The cob is heated in order to continually evaporate water and extend the cob's life. These machines work well with automatic unloading vibratory machines and don't require much floor space. Capacities range from 4 to 70 cubic foot.

Giant Finishing


Giant Finishing Bowl Cob Dryers are designed to work with A range of vibratory finishing machines or from continuous feed equipment. They have a spiral bottom to assure 100% separation. The cob and parts are heated by multi-pass hot liquid jackets built into the machine which absorbs the heat.
Nicem
Nicem Cob Dryers utilize their patented three dimensional balancing technology to provide smooth drying and ability to dry delicate parts. They can also incorporate a rubber liner to increase protection. Their low amplitude, high frequency motion gives them versatility for most applications.

Belt Dryers
A continuous belt dryer is the most efficient way of drying high volume production which requires clean, spot free parts. Parts can be continuously fed into and out of the dryer. Available in widths of 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48 inches which should handle any type of production part.

Giant Finishing


Giant Finishing's Continuous Belt Dryers are made of stainless steel, electric or gas and are insulated for reduced energy consumption. If the application requires, a single or multi stage wash section can be added prior to the drying stage. Customized units with belts as wide 96 inches are available upon request.
